Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
The king will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
During His earthly ministry, Jesus was sensitive to people's physical needs. When His disciples suggested sending away the crowd to buy their own food after listening to Him, Jesus insisted on feeding the weary crowd. On two occasions, Jesus miraculously fed the multitudes by multiplying a few fish and loaves of bread (Matthew 14:13-21; 15:32-39). It's worth noting that although it was Jesus who performed the miracle, He entrusted the task of feeding the hungry to His disciples. Today, we can be that sister, friend, or neighbor through who Jesus can satisfy someone's hunger. - Marlean legaspi-Munar-
