This past Sunday allowed the choir to introduce the new song: I know that I can make it by Kirk Franklin. I think it went rather well. We practiced on it for 2 - 3 rehearsals and the meaning of the song seemed t have settled in our very souls and took on a personally meaning. The words in the song fit very well with Sister Shirley's inspirational message about Peace.

We've been doing more songs that supports: LOVE ( the love that Jesus has for his children), JOY (the joy we will have when we hear him say well done, thy good and faithful servant), PEACE (the peace we keep in our spirits knowing that God is in control and will turn the ashes of your situations into the beauty) and HAPPINESS (just knowing that God loves you so unconditionally that he gave his only Son to atone for our sins and that one day we will be gone from this wicked world and live with him forever).
