NOTES FROM PASTOR JOHNSON'S 4TH SUNDAY MESSAGE 3.25.2018

Posted by: Shirley Smith on Mon, Mar 26, 2018

"THE SINS OF THE WORLD"

Pastor Johnson’s message came from Isaiah 13:11-13, Isaiah 24:20-23, 2 Corinthians 5:14-19, and Colossians 2:6-15 and John 15:1-4. The topic was “The Sins of the World” with the following subtopics:

“The Warning!”

Make sure you are not one of the wicked. The Lord will punish the world for its evil. Things (disasters, fires, floods, killing, etc) are not happening in the world by mistake but by God’s design.

“The Observation”

It is time to stop playing Christians and be a real Christian. God is real. Watch out for death. The death angel is coming to all. If you are not ready; Hell is your home. Heaven and Hell are real. The devil’s job is to destroy, steal and kill.

 “The Solution”

Once you recognize who God is and accept Him in your heart; then you are on the road to seek God’s face. We no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died for us. Look for the spirit within a person and no one according to worldly standards. God saved us from our sins and a burning Hell. We are a new spirit and a new creature within God. We have two spirits within us. God wants us to have a holy spirit. Put the moral spirit of things behind you. Become a new creature and be reborn by the Holy Spirit. It is our responsibility to be an example to others. We should let others see the Christian in us.

“Spiritual Fullness in Christ”

Continue your lives in Christ Jesus. When you were baptized, you were circumcised (spiritually). You were given a new heart. Because of the Word, you are clean. Receive and understand the Word. You must produce evidence of your faith by the way you live and what you say. Remain in Jesus.

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
