"Christ the Gift"

Christmas Day Message’s Subject – “Christ the Gift”

Matthew 1:21-25 – The Power of God

Jesus is the greatest gift man can receive. Jesus, the name, shall save us. Virgin Mary was over shadowed by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to a son called Emmanuel meaning God with us.  Jesus came to save us from our sins. It was not about the body; but by the name of Jesus.

Acts 4:12 – Gave Salvation

The only name God recognizes is the name of Jesus. There is no salvation in any other name. We must believe in Jesus, the resurrection and that Jesus is God. The name of Jesus is important.

Luke 2: 8-14 – With Peace and Goodwill

When Jesus comes in our life, we are sometimes scared. It makes us feel uncomfortable.  Jesus asks of us the right thing to do and turn away from our sins. Jesus came here for everybody who is willing to change their life. Jesus was born in a barn placed in a manger because God wanted him to be associated with those who mourn. You have to have Jesus in your life. If you have a relationship with Jesus, you want have to worry. Get your temple right, live right, and treat your neighbor right. It is not about the church but more importantly about you and your temple within.

Philippians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you. Be just like Jesus. Be sin free. God had to experience everything we experience as Jesus. Keep your focus on Jesus. Men do not have to sin but can live Christian life. Be obedient to God until the end and you will receive your crown. In the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth. God came into the world to save us. Until we recognize sin and what is wrong, the whole world is headed to Hell. God love us so much, He sent his only forgotten Son to die on the cross to save us from our sin.
